Indeed. I am currently re-watching the BBC series Sherlock. I don't know why it wasn't on BBC America, but it was on PBS, so that was alright.
And I love you Sherlock!
I was reading some stuff about the man who plays Sherlock Holmes, Benedict Cumberbatch. Apparently, he wanted to be the Doctor on Doctor Who, and he would have been GREAT! But he didn't try out and Matt Smith got the part.
*Fangirl squeal* OMG, MATT SMITH!!! *Squeal*
Sorry.
LOL, Benedict Cumberbatch as Sherlock is HILARIOUS! And I can so see Sherlock being a texting addict. Along with everything else he was addicted to.
And he's such an idiot when he talks to girls. He is so funny!
Oh my God, I'm so insane. I am totally obsessed with BBC shows. And British people. But don't tell anyone!
Just the whole internet.
Haha. I'm so weird.
And if you're wondering why I'm writing this at one in the afternoon on a Tuesday, I'm sick at home for the second day in a row.
Anyway, two more things about Sherlock;
1.) So funny how everyone thinks that Sherlock and John are gay
2.) and I don't know if I said it before, but I recently read a series called Enola Holmes written by a woman named Nancy Springer. They're sort of for younger kids, a little bit, but they were brilliant. I highly suggest them. There are six in the series.
Cheerio, peeps!
P.S. Sherlock! :-D Heart.

Chicks Truly Do Dig Time Lords
I went to the book signing of Chicks Dig Time Lords this afternoon. I met the editors and three of the people who wrote in it.
I met John Barrowman's (Captain Jack Harkness) big sister. She, along with the other four, signed my book to me. And then I ended up telling them I'm writing a trilogy. They thought that was really cool.
And she thinks I should go to the college she teaches at, and almost inevitably learn from her.
HOW COOL IS THAT??!?!!?!?!?!?!?
OHMYGOD, I MET PEOPLE WHO HAVE MET DAVID TENNAT, KNOW HIM ON A FIRST NAME BASIS, BEEN ON THE DOCTOR WHO SETS, AND KNOW RUSSEL T. DAVIS ON A FIRST NAME BASIS!!!!!!
O.O
SQUEAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am a true, die-hard, Doctor Who fan-girl. Or, as they called it, the new way I will call it, a "Squea-girl."
Definitely.
DW Squea-girl over and out.

Thank you.

PEACE

It's a sign on my door.
No, my door isn't that color, it just looks cool that way.
'COURSE I'M A NORMAL PERSON!

A cool photoshop of a sign on my closet door.
WHAT WOULD YOU DO FOR A HANDFUL OF CHANGE?

I just had some change lying around. It's a cool pic, you gotta admit.
Also a creepy title.
Short story, anyone?
ALIENS!

Just the invert of image below.
STRUGGLING ARTIST

I'm not sure what I was thinking when I took this.
Actually, I'm not sure what I was thinking when I took any of these...
It was kind of 11:30 about two weeks ago...
(Untitled)

A bad pic of the sign on my closet.

AMERICAN ME

My fav hat, my American flag dog tag necklace, and my rainbow sequin shoe!
SEGREGATION

Bad picture...
NORMAL PERSON STAMP

Cool version of the sign close-up.
SCATTER!

*Shrug*
TEENAGE RICHES

My handful of change, golden hat, and favorite fake pearls.
I know I have real pearls somewhere, but I love my fakes!
ELEGANT HISTORY

This is an interesting one. I have my great-grandmother's pocket watch necklace, which is mine now, my fake pearls, and pretty porcelain box.
Something about this picture distinctly reminds me of the late 1800s/early 1900s.
Doctor Who-Time Crash:
DOCTOR WHO!!!!!
LOVED David Tennant!! Still think he's BRILLIANT!!! Gotta see the BBC Hamlet with him! My favs!!! Shakespeare and David Tennant!!!!!
:-D
And now I ADORE Matt Smith! He is HILARIOUS!!!!! And Infublo agrees!!!!
But Matt Smith's so cute!! He's not cute, like crush cute, but little brother cute. And in the beginning you might think he's kinda odd looking, but watch 2 minutes and I GUARANTEE you will love him! And he keeps growing on you! He's amazing!
Possibly more picture tomorrow.
Cheerio, peeps!

50 posts
Yay! I've got 50 posts!
(Well, 51, actually...)
Now I'm just waiting for 250 on my other blog...
Let's see...
I had another showing of the play today, my parents came. Then my mom had to go to D.C. on business.
Today I was so bored. I watched Psych, Doctor Who, Bones, and part of Alfred Hitchcock's Rear Window. To see if I liked it, I wanted to start watching part of the BBC show Demons, but my dad made me turn the TV off.
I'm almost done with chapter 6 in my book. (FINALLY!!!!!!) And I think that's about it...
Oh! I got a new toy. Since my camera died over winter break, when I was in Paris, I finally got a new one yesterday. I need to start playing with it. And I need to upload and fix up, in photo shop, my vacation photos. Even though they'll mostly end up on the other blog, I'll add some, and link the rest.
I even want to change the picture behind my other blog's title to some properly British red phone booths. (Although I wouldn't object to photographing and adding a little blue police box... ;-])
Cheerio, peeps!

FREEDOM!!!!
Hooray! It's finally the weekend.
This week I had an English test, a lit test, and two FL tests... Just today were one FL test and the lit test...
Ick.
Oh, and hello! To my two new followers. I didn't see when you guys came on.
Today we finished off the business letters that we had started on... I think Tuesday..?
Mine was to the Doctor Who, BBC team. <3And I was also sick on Wednesday. Didn't miss much.
On Monday our grade has a Bat Mitzvah, so no school. On Friday we have the first showings of the play, so next week I won't have much time, cuz I'll get home so late from practice. Since Friday is a half-day (Don't remember why.) I won't really go to class, because we're doing at least three showings, and it's almost an hour.
On Sunday I'm sleeping over at Infublo's house, so she can take me to the Bat Mitzvah, so I'll try and have her post.
Cheerio, peeps!
P.S. We've been talking about how awesome it would be to have one of my book characters, Thanatos Whispers, or James Ward (His human name.) come to our school. He'd be so fun! Even though admittedly he'd pretty much live off in his own little world, he's the god of the DEAD! It would just be cool. And it'd be kinda funny to have a kid with colonial style hair coming to our school. (Complete with hair ribbon tying it back... ;-P)

Fingers On the Glass, A Mirror On the Wall
Fingers on the glass,
A mirror on the wall.
A demon in the pencil box,
Trying not to fall.
Keep a cover on the pot,
But don't delay or stall.
Keep your fingers on the glass,
A mirror on the wall.
I dunno where it came from. I was just thinking about this poem I read earlier, and then the above popped into my head.
Infublo's been writing some amazing poetry as well. I might beg her to post a piece of one, but I doubt she'll let me. I know of a few that, for sure, won't be allowed.
But I'm surprised at myself. I can't usually rhyme to save my life, but, even though it's nonsensical, it's quite good.
Hmm...
Weird day's at school this week. Sorry I couldn't post, tons of homework.
Cheerio, peeps.
P.S. Saw the last Doctor Who episodes with David Tennant. Loved 'em. The new Doctor is gonna rock.
For English we have to write business letters and I want to send mine to the Doctor Who BBC people, but I can't find their snail mail address.
I had my first forensics practice today, did pretty awful. And I thought I didn't need to practice that much because I WROTE the piece myself!

TV assignment
Yay! We have an assignment for lit to watch TV and use all our literary elements on the show we watch. So, I get to watch Doctor Who! <3!
Now, for the 2nd grade book project... Infublo and I both got assigned to the same person, a girly-girl. Grrr... So, I've been using characters from my book, The Name of the Game. Odd thing is that's my most violent book... However, there are so many characters with such different personalities, so I can use them. And they're all gods and goddesses and such, so she should like it. I've been trying not to use Twilight, because even though she's pretty much the main character, and my favorite, she's the most violent, and she swears a TON.
So, yeah... That's pretty much it...
Cheerio, peeps!

The day of the Subs
Today we had three substitutes! THREE! One for Social Studies, one for Lit, and one for P.E. The one is Social Studies was really WEIRD. She was a really, really bad teacher. I don't think anyone liked her. For Lit we just watched part of a movie with Mr. W, so it wasn't that bad. For P.E. almost any sub is better than the regular teacher. We just played kickball, though, so there wasn't much to compare.
All the teachers were gone because the grade above us went on their bike trip, so they left yesterday, and came back after lunch.
Anyway, I am so SICK of Google Docs! Everything is on it! Ok, just venting.
So, I feel bad about missing last night's VMA awards, although I had never heard of them until this morning. But Muse was on, so I feel SOOO bad about missing them! But I was watching Doctor Who, so it wasn't a complete waste of time. (Well, duh. You never waste your time when watching Doctor Who. ;-P) But, still,... I feel SOO bad! (Although, Doctor Who is British, just as Muse is. Who I am listening to now.) So, to make up for it, here is Uprising by Muse.
Yay Muse! Parts of this song sound like the Doctor Who theme song!
Here...
Well, this is about as close as I could find. The pictures are from the episode "Voyage of the Damned." It was SOOOO SAD!!!!!!! :-( And the weirdest episode of his I have EVER seen!
Aaand, since it won an award last night, 21 Guns by Green Day.
Here ya' go, Infublo. (She's STILL obsessed with them, by the way.)
Wow, that was a lot of YouTube videos.
Enjoy them, and my ramblings and complaints.
Cheerio, peeps!
